Meet Dr. Duffy!
In 2014, Thomas Duffy, DDS, graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He was a part of the third class of the Regional Initiatives in Dental Education (RIDE) program while he was there. The program strongly emphasizes early clinical skills, a more comprehensive skill set frequently required in underprivileged or rural areas, and direct collaboration with multiple healthcare disciplines.
Under the guidance of a skilled mentor in a Shelton private practice, Dr. Duffy acquired these and numerous other new abilities in the first five years following the completion of his training. He is delighted that Peninsula Family Dentistry is located in Gig Harbor.

No Dental Insurance? We have a Solution! Take advantage of Peninsula Family Dentistry’s unique Dental Membership Plan if you don’t have dental insurance. Pay monthly in a manageable amount, or buy a year in advance to receive the 12th month for free! Your second hygiene appointment is worth the savings if you typically pay in cash! This program is just a more affordable way to help you get the dental care your family needs. It is not an insurance policy, and there are no deductibles or pre-approvals. Each member is entitled to a maximum of two hygiene appointments every calendar year. We also have special plans for children and those with periodontal disease, also known as gum disease. Your payments cover your annual fluoride treatment, digital x-rays, comprehensive oral exams, oral cancer screenings, and teeth cleanings.
